engine break in tuning

I have 2 a9l pcm's one stock one with a quaterhorse that iam going to use to tune with. my engine is fresh, I donot have a tune for it yet I was thinking of breaking the engine in with the stock pcm keeping it out of boost an much as possible to get the rings seated then start with the quaterhorse once its broke in. its a 306 9.7 to1 edlbrock performers,f303 1.7 rockers and a on3 kit.42lb inj matching mass air


just a 302?? how fast could it be??

I would definitely get a baseline calibration and have widebands running before firing up a new engine so you can at least monitor what is going on.  The first 30min of runtime on a new engine is the most crucial.
