Topics I've Started

Mach 1 owners

01 July 2016 - 02:59 PM

Just wondering how many other guys here drive Mach 1s. They're not that common but I'm sure there are a handful in STL. Spotted an orange one around Chesterfield last year.

I'm starting the STLM SOTM again. Get your nominations in!

21 October 2015 - 09:06 AM

Every now and then there's talk of starting this again, but nobody actually gets it going... so here we go! Get your nominations in on this thread before Nov. 1st. I'll try to get pics and details on the cars that get nominated from the owners, and voting will start early next month! Let's see how this goes, the forum isn't as active as it used to be but this should still be fun.

I'll start with TWN SCW's Coyote-swapped '97 GT because I've seen it in person and it's a good looking car + nice project that he's put a lot of effort into.

What kind of gas mileage do you supercharged guys get?

And what is your setup? I'm getting 11-12 in the city and 22 on the highway if I totally baby it and just cruise normally. P1SC on a Mach 1. Around 15-16 MPG average with bumper-to-bumper on the way home from work every day.

Tried messing with Adobe Lightroom for the first time

My actual camera isn't that good though.

Really erratic wideband after moving sensor

05 October 2015 - 09:04 AM

When Craven originally installed my blower, they removed the driver side rear O2 sensor to plug in the wideband sensor. I had to fix that so I can pass emissions, so I put a regular O2 sensor back into there and had a new hole cut and a bung installed before the cat and after the front O2 sensor to put the wideband into. Since it's in there, I'm getting very erratic readings where it used to be dead-on at 14.7 to 15.0 while idling.

Somebody at AutoMeter said my new readings are normal, but that doesn't seem right to me? I see videos online of other peoples' gauges and they're pretty stable. Here's a video of mine at idle:

Does the same thing while cruising at a constant speed, except the range is moves around in is even bigger. Is this really about right?
