Too much drain on the electrical system...mine acted that way when I had the electric fan and nitrous (bottle warmer) on until I upgraded the alternator to 3G...if the alternator has the under drive pulley on it swap it for a stock one and that should be good unless you have a bunch of extra electrical items added...this is all assuming the alternator is good too
Should have done what this guy suggested. Would have saved you the cost of the alternator. That's what underdrive pullies do, they essentially work everything less and by doing so "free up" power. By varying the size of the alternator pulley it pulls less power from it. That's why your system isn't working properly, it's not producing what it's supposed to.
$46k as tested? Ouch! They are treading territory that I'm not sure they are ready for....
I can't agree more. I built one online GT(not te premium) and just put the track pack and recaros(which are cloth because it's not a "premium") and it was 37grand. 37k for a car with cloth seats still.. Granted I've never priced out the competition so for all I know that's competitive but either way.. Expensive for cars that aren't that daily-able.
I can't believe no one was fired for the weight gain this thing took. Ford was bragging last year how light the next gen Mustang was going to be and that it was going to loose at least 400lbs despite the addition of the IRS. WTF happened? Lighter and more nimble WAS it's strong points against the opposition.
The pricing has gotten out of control also.
I completely agree. We needed to keep the weight down. And pricing. Stupid. 32 grand gets you a base GT. Cloth seats..
Personally I love how they look I just can't get over the weight gain and te price. Mpg is whatever lol all of our cars get shit mileage.
